Time for Nick Owen to go. This afternoon's Lunchtime News. Lead Story: Government begins looking into possiblity of Britain staging World Cup in 2018. Nick Owen introduces recorded interview with Tessa Jowell as follows:

On the contrary, I feel Nick is one of the only Network presenters that is down-to-earth, someone the viewers can really connect with, give or take a few of his mistakes, which he usually makes a light joke out of afterwards.
I don't think your argument would really be a decisive factor for those at ITN in kicking him out of the back door though...there are far, far worse!

Who is she and when and how frequent is she on the NC?
Saima ? Reporter on Meridian , Points West , Watchdog, Sky News , that's as much as I've seen of her. That's the first time I've seen her on the ITVNC.
