Isha Sesay is leaving the Morning News:

CNN has poached ITN's news anchor Isha Sesay as the network beefs up its international arm.

Sesay, who anchored for the ITV1 Early Morning News programme as well as for GMTV, will be based in Atlanta and report to Rena Golden, senior vice president, CNN International.

Sesay, who joins at the end of November and will anchor across the broadcasters international news programmes.


So Owen Thomas back to the Morning News perhaps?

This is the most militant thread on the entire forum populated mainly by kids- where have you been? Most of the posts in here are a waste of time anyway (Halloween backgroaunds ffs!) however when someone dares to post some criticism they are berated.
I agree with you Aphroditie on the subject of these reports in the style of TV shows. Like youve said we've had Tory Big Brother, a mock up of a film trailer on Friday night, and now this Who wants to be a British citizen thing. I also caught the end of one report last week with Chris Choi downing a raw egg proclaiming he believed they were safe! Isnt news in this country supposed to be based on fact not reporters opinions? As terrible an event it would be one hopes that image comes back to haunt Chris Choi ala John Selwyn Gummer and that burger during the BSE crisis! The whole lot is news for the braindead, which is of course all you can expect from ITV News nowadays!

ITVNC is trailing a special programme about today's 7 July memorial service at 9.25. Presumably this is an ITV1 simulcast replacing the Jeremy Kyle Show, but it's not shown in any schedules or on the EPG.
