Hmm , you 're probably right. I thought the ITVNC being rolling news wouldnt be replayed but seeing LT had the latest sports results it was likely to be 'live'.

Strange time of the day to play recorded news on ITVNC.

I expect London Tonight was live. A few months ago another ITV region got into trouble for pre-recording their late bulletin.

Sorry got quite a complicated question. But I'll break it down. Basically, why couldn't Mark Austin appear live on cam from Pakistan on ENE when he'd been on the EN just moments earlier? Why did he have to use a phone? Same applied to other situations. Why does the ITVNC rarely use reporters live on the scene, rather than every now and again. It's so cheap compared to News24, they have reporters on location all the time.

It's now second rate broadcast news, that's why. I really pity when I watch ITV News. It is definitely a poor relation to other news providers.

What's happened with Chris Rogers and his report on Child Prisons?
I was watching the ITV News Channel when the presenter was explaining and half way through my TV's sound went stupid.
I heard " Because of that report by Chris he has been summoned to the US... " then my TV went daft.

As a result of his reports on child prisons in Manila, he's been summoned to a US/UN (Can't remember) court to give evidence on what he saw. Should be interesting, and I hope we are kept up to date on this.

Once again ITV News being/creating the news! They have had many big exclusives and foreign investigations that other news organisations have covered AFTER ITV News - but people on this forum still seem to think of ITV News as third class.
Whereas, infact, this year they have had one of their best years out of the last ten or so.
I would not like to see the removal of the ITV NC from DTT.
