It was a normal Summary, with a normal summary shot.

Interesting to note that the whole show (or near enough) appears to be devoted to the quake; I wonder what'll happen for Extra?

Also, notice the ending music and credits on the Evening News were missed?

That would had been on purpose, Mark's last words were "Children are Dead" not too be followed by drumming music ..

Looking at the stills, that's interesting..... the "talkback" or IFB on remote satellite links (ie foreign and a long way away) is usually done on satellite phones. In that case, it looks like that dropped off and he used his GSM to dial in. The "reliable" system fails so they go for the unreliable one.

Probably about $8 a minute cheaper too......!
