Can anyone tell me the presenter line up on the news channel for the weekend?

Hmm that's a pretty difficult question. The News Channel never really seems to have a fixed schedule, so the only people that could tell you, are either people who work at ITN, or the presenters themselves! Smile

There's no ITV Morning News tommorow morning on ITV1. I wonder will they still broadcast it on the ITV News Channel, and if not, what would they show between 6 and 7am!

Isha Sesay said this moring that they will be on at 5am tomorrow morning due to the formula one - it's just a 20minute bulletin so I presume they will be no 10 minute recap like there normally is Rolling Eyes

I happened to catch some of today's Morning News, and Jesus it's quite bad. What was the top story I hear you ask? Michael Jackson coming into the UK to record a single, okay fair enough its the first time he's been publicly seen since the Trial, but Top Story is a bit of a p*ss take considering there's a really important News Story about an Earthquake right now.

About 5 minutes into it they were going on about some new British film that was being premiered over the weekend. (I didn't catch the rest as I left for work at 5.45am)

Granted pratically no-one watches the Morning News, but I didn't realise how bad it was.

Had the earthquake story unfolded at that point? On the whole, the news scene is quite low at that time in the morning.

Well I'm sure it was just a dodgy line up this morning and not an official policy!
Was news of the Earthquake known at 5.30am by the way?

Back to tommorow and there has been a schedule change, the ITV Morning News is on at 5am for 20 minutes in place of ITV Nightscreen which has been reduced to just 10 minutes. Still means they won't be able to repeat it in the usual manner?

Thats one way of putting it, or perhaps simply reheating the overnight stuff and adding the pepper that is celebrity before serving.

Mentioned on this page. If you think about it, the ITVMN can be rerun at 05.20, 05.40, 06.00, 06.20 and 06.40 tomorrow, which is the most likely option.

Are there ITV News summaries overnight and who presents these bulletins? Rachel McTavish on a weekday?

Whoever's doing the Morning News. This tends to be Rachel McTavish or Isha Sesay, working 7 days on, 7 days off. Sian Jones regularly crops up on the overnight shift too.

On weekdays the overnight presenter also does the London Today bulletins during GMTV.

I'm pretty certain that the Earthquake was the second headline on the Morning News. Though it's been mentioned before, but the first time I noticed they use 'Live With....' on the titles.
