This has to be classic conversation.

It’s like being at a séance and talking to the un-dead.

After a long run, I can see this thread getting locked very soon...

You really ought not to tempt me with such obvious ones as that.

So are you hinting that when they find that other, elusive, "n", it'll work?

Indeed - one more chance for this thread otherwise it's clearly run its course. Please get it back on topic. I'm looking into the site ban problem.

I didn't think anyone else could replace Angela Rippon on her weekend slot but I think John Nicolson is doing a great job. The programme takes a similar format with the same pundits and guests and is still a great addition to the ITVNC.

PS - The Max Factor might've seemed like a good idea on paper but it didnt really translate to the screen. It was nice to have a break from the usual studio and see some different lighting etc but the presenter (Max Clifford) let the programme down and maybe keeping it to 25 minutes in length would've helped.

Can anyone tell me the presenter line up on the news channel for the weekend?

John Nicolson is indeed doing a fantastic job. I love the way he gets involved in what he's doing and puts across opinions and questions everyone at home is asking. I think the whole Max Factor thing was slightly random, and by the way, there was an article about his private life primarily in the Daily Mirror today. Felicity on the Weekend News today. She is a great presenter in general.
