god promotion but mark and mary could not even present the evening news for 5 days before having steve scott and felicity barr presnting the itv evening news tonight at 6:30. have not seen the promotion since monday has anyone else? has anyone captured it

also looked on the itv regional news website to view last nights news and no video from tuesday to thursday has been uploaded on the national network or regional. do they useually upload them all in one go at the end of the week

Can anyone tell me why they have adverts in the Evening News now? I thought they weren't going to have any.

I quite like the breaks for some reason.

To make money: ITV1 is a commercial channel, after all.

Steve Scott never leads when he does the Evening News, when he did it with Nina, she always lead, and now with Felicity she is leading.

I think one reason for breaks today was that it was a very, very slow news day. It seemed they wanted to fill as much time as possible. the news finished at about 6.53 as well, so there wasn't a great deal of news.

I just don't get the news channel... who are these dreadful people? Ben Scotchbrooke doing Alastair's show... patronising with a face for radio. Mark Owen and Faye Barker? It was like watching two planks of wood. And Faye's voice? Cheese grater. Where's the likes of Carrie Frais, Owen Thomas and Lucy Alexander? Or is this the way ITV is trying to reposition itself as sky gets ready to relaunch. Sky must be laughing.

Ouch! Faye Barker is from Yorkshire Television, and fills in from time to time, but has been on quite frequently this summer. Mark Owen I believe is from ITV Wales, I wouldn't say they are wooden, they are pretty experienced, maybe they are just better suited to regional news. I have watched Faye on the News Channel and she has been excellent especially with the Katrina disaster. Sasha Herriman is my favourite ITV babe at the moment, I love the scalf she wears. She is also very talented.
