I noticed that too, about Tom Bradby! Tonight's EN has been an anti-climax. Except Roger Moore's report, I think the programme has been very sloppy (focusing mainly on Mark Austin). Mary looked uncomfortable at the beginning, fidgeting with papers, but became more confident quickly. I'm not used to Mary's voice, she sounds so shaky. Was she always like that? Nice comment from Mark at the end too!

They didn't seem to give Mary much to do at all!
Mark Austin mentioned at the end that,"it was good to have Mary back." Before they walked to the desk and he threw down his paper!
I suppose it will take Mary a while to settle back down?

I think Mark's probabaly still tired from being in New Orleans. He did appear irritated at the end though, and he spoke right over Mary. She's probably been given little to do, as she's just returned. Nina didn't get much on her first week did she, or as I remember she didn't?

Nina did seem to take a backseat near the start of her stint presenting the 18:30 bulletin but eventually did become a fully fledged presenter alongside Mark Austin.

They could still see them though, as they are faintly projected arn't they?

Good to have her back, however, the ending style was a lot different, Mark & Mary went round to the sides of the desk and briefy Mary looked back at the newswall, as if looking at the ending titles, even though all that was there was green.

Yes, faintly. How else would presenters know what they are pointing at? I think it says something about that on the ITV News website when it discusses the newswall.

Four back-projectors provide low-level pictures to aid the presenter to interact more naturally with the virtual reality environment.

an anti-climax of what? What did you expect to happen?
Why has this thread become so ridiculous lately
What just because I post in it? I am sick of you, just because you have four thousand odd posts, I have to look up to you like you are the almighty god of TV Forum. Well take a reality check dear- you're not. I'm here, so live with it.
