The Lunchtime Saturday bulletin is now a full bulletin with Headlines instead of the usual summary. Lucy Owen is presenting.

Lucy looks great presenting the national news.

Is Lucy scheduled for todays bulletins, or is she covering? She didn't say "I'll be back at..." at the end of the bulletin - she seems like an odd choice if she is.

Weekend lunchtime is often done by someone different to the main bulletins, usually one of the duty NC presenters.

Bill Neely was supposed to be presenting on ITV1 today, but he's obviously now out of the country.

I guess then that Lucy will be back this evening then, because as you say, Bill is doing the reporting from New Orleans.

Great to see ITV Wales's Lucy Owen presenting on the national news this lunchtime. Will she be on at teatime too?

Also great to see former ITV Wales reporter Helen Callaghan reporting.

Yes and don't forget that your relative, Sian Lloyd presented the national weather aswell - even if she did have her obituary earlier in the week.
Great to see so many 'welsh' people on a national scale or have they done it intentionally as they know Wales are going to get a thrashing at the football?

She said the next bulletin would be presented from New orleans with Bill Neely but I think she might do the "Other News" In the studio

Also great promo for the Evening News..good behind the scenes shots.

hmmmm...can't remember seeing that on the Weekend News before...seems most likely that only one will present either from studio or on location, but I suppose the adopting of the Evening News link to studio thing from OB could be a possibility. Remeber though, that this is only a fifteen minute bulletin.

Yes, it's the sympathy vote from ITV Laughing

I guess this is more due to current events than a regular change.

The Saturday Lunch bulletin is usually only five minutes long as a pose to ten, is it not?

That is terrible news, isn't it? What's this country coming to? I hope Nina's alright now.

I just hope it doesn't happen again. I mean, she's become such a high profile newsreader over the past year. It's a shame too because last week (when this happened) was probabaly her last week officially on the ITV Evening News, since Mary returns next week.
