I'm a huge fan of Alistair Stewart, he's great on his own and when the chemistry is right he's brilliant as a co-anchor... His teaming with Mary Nightingale, Fiona Foster and Natasha Kaplinkyplonk are the three that stand out for me.

ITV News seems to be off on Freeview in the Scottish TV region. It's saying that it will return later this afternoon. Is It the same elsewhere?

ITV News is taken off in the Scottish & Grampian regions whenever there is a Setanta PPV game on TopUp TV. They share MUX space.

Setanta Sports PPV has the slot north of the border becues SMG sold it them for SPL games.

Whilst watching the news channel this weekend, there was a report from Samira Ahmed. Has she moved to ITV from Channel 4 News, or is she freelance?

As like many others on this thread I'm a sad ******* who is glued to the ITV News Channel 24/7 (not), I feel duty-bound to be the first to point out that they have finally replaced the wireless keyboard and mouse in the studio - the one on the left of the screen disappeared a while ago and was replaced by a clunky wired model.
