Yes, looks as though it will be a solo from Mark, as Sasha is doing the 3pm hour on the NC and not Nina or another main presenter. Having said this, a few weeks ago, Bill Neely did the 3pm hour and he was doing the 10 30 rather than the 6 30.

Or they could be continuing the recent trend of double-headed OBs and both Mark and Nina will be at the airport.

On the LN either Nina or Alastair said 'Mark Austin will be at Heathrow,' so if Nina was to be there, it would have been mentioned... we'll just have to wait and see! Should be an interesting one, I can foresee some good interviewing from Austin.

Big mistake on the NC this afternoon. When Sasha told us what was coming up after the break, they cut to the shot of the whole studio and we didn't cut to the adverts... so we saw a man run onto the set and start fiddling about with Sasha's microphones, behind her. Then we cut to the gallery shot, this all lasted about half a minute. Quite an interesting mistake really...

Are they using monkeys to run the NC today? They appear to be having many technical problems including a report failing three times. We were then showed a shot of the editing program they use on the channel. And the microphones aren't working properly.

it was no big deal, the opening report failed to run twice that's all; I don't remember any 'microphone problems' nor any shot of the editing room. Methinks the poster was getting a bit excited over nothing.

Yeah, I saw that as well - I thought that the adverts had failed to run and we would see all that went on during the ads in the studio.
