P.S. Why are ITV News asking people for video footage of this Bomb Alert when it is just outside their front door? It would be quicker if they sent a camera man outside to get some images from near the scene.

Thanks Keith for your posting here and on another forum. Yep it's back at last here in Northern Ireland.

new animation to the next on the itv news channel at the end of the lunchtime news and it was on an angle.
OH
Yes, it zoomed in from the bottom of the screen and had a light source flashing along it-in a similar style to the breaking news graphic. A nice simple addition to add interest to a boring graphic.
PS The picture shape has been strange all day. Everyone was fat one minute then very thin the next!

The new camera angles in use on the ITV News are a big improvement. The previous close ups of the background on the newswall lacked depth, but it looks much better seeing more of the desk and the wall in shot.
And Paul Davies has now just 'appeared' to walk off the main set into the Briefing studio.

I don't know if anyone have commented on this already.
But yesterday morning at about 10 past 9 they showed a full length report from chris ship about the new tv appeal
Well the report had been cut down for the lunchtime news but anyone who had chance to see the full report will have noticed that the TV Appeal was actually filmed in the CSO news studio at ITN with that white desk thing been moved to one side while they were filming.
It is amazing how small the desk actually looks against the cameras and other equipment
