Does anyone else think that it was suspicious that the ITV News Phone Vote concerning the Police's Shoot to Kill tactic was incorrectly displayed as 50% yes and 50% no.

Just before the end of the programme Nic and Andrea said that,"many more thousands of you have voted and the results have dramatically changed to 87% yes and 13% no."

That is such a vast difference would suggest that the earlier 50-50 result was possibly incorrect?

No. I bet you that seeing as the Your Say poll was on ITV Day for the Lunchtime News thousands more will be watching a popular channel like ITV1 rather than news channels. And viewers were encouraged to take part. So, no wrongdoing for ITV.

something new on todays lunchtime news. the camera is not directly in front of steve or andrea it is to one side.

one of the 4 squares on the news wall zoom up to the position where the interviews take place. i have never seen this before has anyone else

Rather poor that when there was breaking news about the latest arrest, ITVNC was treating us to an interview with Lisa Stansfield courtesy of London Today.

Maybe the NC should opt out of the Lunchtime News at 1pm?

What do you expect they can't get another gallery up and running to opt out of the London Today programme

ITV doesn't have enough money

ITV NEWS dont have the money ITV do but they dont want to spend it on the news channel.

They've also been doing that on the Evening News recently as well. I think it actually looks better and utilises the 'newswall' more effectively.

Haven't seen the 10:30 for a few days now, but think the new desk shot is such an improvement to the typical. Has this been used any other time this week?

What has happened to ITV Morning News stalwarts Mark Webster and John Draper? They have not been on ITV News since, at least, February. Anybody know?

Cool Luke! I was thinking of mentioning this today but thought that surely ITV must've use his name for 'his' programmes previously.

But then thinking back whenever he was standing in for Alastair or Angela their names still remained on the news wall!
I can't remember the last time I actually saw Angela Rippon present on the ITV NC - does she still present?

PS - the two female presenters presenting between 2-3pm had NO chemistry and Carrie seemed to laugh at all of Phillipa's links and kept crossing her hands and pulling faces at her. Phillipa must've sensed her feelings and lunged to her left and kept looking at the monitors in the desk for something to do! lol

PPS It comes to something when ITVNC is dual anchored and SKY¦News isnt!
