Yes i agree Nina suits the LN more
Her and Nick are a good pair,and they have a joke like yesterday they both said "After the break" at the same time and they were laughing and its humorous at lunchtime and they make a great pair.
I also think Nina suits this bulletin because she seems more relaxed.
Its a blow for Nina, as she has been demoted. What a shame, I hope it is not to pave the way for mary nightingale. She does not deserve to get the job back. Plus, the Evening News has only just started to beat rivals in the Evening, long after Mary went, so to demote Nina, after her and Mark made the Evening News a successful programme, I hope it falls back on ITV News.
I quite liked it when Nicholas Owen re-enacted an England cricket player catching the ball just before the 13:00 advert break on today's lunchtime news - Nina looked over and laughed.
I thought it was a bit strange after the regional bulletin at 13:15 when it returned to Nic and Nina and they just began reporrting the 'London Alert' news. As a viewer we weren't expecting this and it seemed odd to continue the continuous coverage after the one hour lunchtime news.
For the first 20 minutes they were struggling to get any information across about what was happenning; but I suppose all news organisations were in the dark together. I quite enjoyed Nicholas Owen's commentary whilst we were watching LIVE footage of that man being arrested outside No10 - it was quite (unintenionally) comical in parts!

It's not Nina's effort that has apprently made the EN "successful" - Mary is a much more experienced and engaging newsreader, so I believe it would be incorrect to imply that it was her that kept the ratings off the board.

Isn't this incompetent rather than funny?! Anyhow, I much prefer Mary Nightingale - she's lot a lot of clout behind her with regards to reporting news. I can't take Nina seriously as I've never seen her on location actually doing news reports as I have before with Mary and Mark. I've seen Nicholas Owen in Boscastle (and other places), Trevor in Kuwait, Andrea in Iraq etc.
I do not like Mary,she can not deliver news in a emphisis way to me, she just read s its and is annoying i find Nina and Mark much better as they suit more.
