Indeed but the fact that it was notable was that they arn't ITV1 presenters. Alistair Stewart has been on ITV1 a lot lately but isn't really an ITV1 News presenter.

Leyla Daybelge & Lauren Taylor have both presented ITV1 Weekend Bulletins (both the Lunchtime, Evening & Late) recently... so should a footnote be added?

Yes I noticed that - it could very well have been judged as inappropriate in light of last week's events - but then I thought it was dreadful in the first place.
The use of that newswall could be so much better IMO. The view of the atrium as seen on election night was far superior to the tacky backgrounds they serve up on a regular basis.

Im preety sure it is in light of last weeks evens - the last time we saw it was on Wednesday - the day before the attacks. Interesting to note also that it appears the team have also stopped using that 'horrific' red colour for 'Target London' and have now gone to a dark purple.

Have itv News now scrapped the Lunchtime News background? Today the blue squares were used again instead of the normal white, blue and yellow background.
