To be fair he's been doing quite well lately. When it was the 'News at When' he went through a phase of only doing about 2 days a week maximum

Maybe because it was heavily promoted at the end of every ITV1 bulletin which never happened previously.

He does work occasionally on Friday's. but i thought the main reason was because Tonight was on the same evening.

ITV may not be in the lead either, but their audience has deffinatley increased by far since the rename. Forgive me anyway but ITN sounds dated, and so is their endcap.

People who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. The plural of Friday is "Fridays", not "Friday's".

But isn't Tonight pre-recorded? And what's Hossein's excuse? When she was on BB London News she did five day weeks.

And does anybody have the table from today's newspaper about how much readers earn and how often they're on. Andrew Marr's comments really stirred up something. Shocked

I have always thought that Tonight was pre-recorded earlier in the day. Sometimes news has broken in the day which has later been covered on Tonight; this was the case with Fiona Bruce the other day IIRC.
