Presumably because it was at 11pm and not 10.30?

Nice to have a full bulletin at 11.00pm for once, but they used the Weekend titles, but Trev's still presenting.

Yeah, but still I've seen normal titles being used at wrong times, like last year when the Evening News kept getting moved because of Euro 2004, so you'd see the clock hitting 6.30pm at something like 7.00pm.

can't wait for the 6:30 tonight - im not a liverpool fan but (yet another of) Mark's OB's should be magical. I suppose Nina will be confined to the studio again, but I doubt we'll be seeing much of her. Should be a real good one tonight.
btw, all these people asking why this story is top news...why not? just because its a sports story people assume its not important enough to headline. I think we should glorifying these next few days, as this has been great acheivement for English football, and the victory over one of the best teams in the world surely deserves to be made big. (this must be doing wonders to our olympic bid!)

Nina is getting more and more daring...
Other news now (I think I've been watching to much News) and something I noticed yesterday - Steve & Felicity have an overhead sting. By this I mean the sting usually played on the National News using the overhead camera, the first piece of the opening titles & the usual sting music.
As far as I knew, the News Channel never used either of the headline stings...

Sorry if I haven't noticed this before... I just flicked past ITV News channel a few minutes before midnight and there was a guy just standing there with his back to the camera watching the reports - was this meant to be some sort of signing thing, because I didn't see any signing.

Does anyone know where ITV News' business editor Caroline Kerr is? Is she on maternity leave or something?
