I don't think there will be a new set, however it looks like the Lunchtime news will have new graphics, probably just a reworking of the current ones, nothing major. I wouldn't be surprised if their was some change to the studio layout, even if its just for the Lunchtime News.

It might have the orange/red effects of ITV Day...

I expect this is the end for the generic clock being played out on the newswall... except for the Weekend News...

we know the desk can light up orange, so would the desk light up orange , for the ITV Day 1 hour news?

Is there any news of Trevor's retirement date or Mary's return date?

I doubt that ITN would want to change the identity of the news at all, as I dont think that they would want a different identity to each of their news programmes, and at present ITV News is suited to its trademark 'ocean blue' colour.

I can only see an orange light in the desk clashing with the backdrop, and I dont think ITN would want a bright newswall as they had at breakfast a few weeks ago

This evening's weekend news, only had 2 shots at the newswall, and both of them you couldn't see the desk.

Looks like more election rehearsals - the NC has been in the virtual studio since late last night, and the diagonal corner of the election floor is visible on the left. And the strange coating on the floor of the walkway has returned.
