on both events bbc have more coverge than itv do.

I fully expected that to occur that BBC will show more than ITV - ITV commentary on these occasions are concise and to the point. BBC show more because they are not a commercial channel.
I'd rather watch ITV coverage over the BBC as in the past BBC has tended to waffle on and continuely repeat itself.
Its not that I'm BBC bashing I just don't like their style of covergage it does my head in

I hope Nicholas Owen, Alastair Stewart and Katie Derham are commentating on these events as they can be quite witty and entertaining!

Perhaps on the wedding.
Speaking of the wedding have they said who is presenting. With Anegla Rippon being I wonder whether she will be part of the team or whether it will be a main anchor

I've heard from a reliable source that Nicholas Owen will be in the Royal Wedding coverage on ITV this Saturday

In what capacity and where I don't know.

Mind you he could be as I don't think he presented every Lunchtime bulletin this week I know Andrea Catherwood did it Monday

Nicholas and Katie are presenting the Royal Wedding aren't they?

also, a very minor point, but it seems that the text on the ticker is slightly larger.

Strange. Owen's on again now and has been on since lunchtime. but John Nicholson did 4 till 5.30.Interesting to see who does the London bulletin. It's usually Owen when Joyce isn't on.

I don't like it like that, It reminds me of the pre-2004 ticker.

I was watching the end of Live with Alastair Stewart today and he was promoting the funeral, but he referred to 'Our friends and colleagues at GMTV will be handing over to us at 8.50', not often you hear GMTV mentioned like this.
