Some dual male presentership on the NC at the moment... John Nicolson - who I presume will present Live with Alastair Stewart later on - and Lloyd Bracey, who presented the 7am hour too.

The Morning News presenters do seven nights on, seven nights off.
So Rachel McTavish does alternate weeks, and someone else does the weeks in between - currently Nazanine, sometimes Sian Jones or whoever.

Nazanine Moshiri - is she the main weekend presenter of the Morning News? She was on the only time I ever recorded it, and that was at a weekend...

morning news presenter schdueles seem to be herractic becuase Rachel some weeks only work 4/5 days then she seems to be on for 8 days. I know once Rachel was on for 4 days then we had Sian Jones for 4 days, Nazanie Moshiri for 5 days then Rachel again for well over a week

I'll look out next weekend - see if Rachel is on...

Basically I us middle england folk (central to all ITV boffs) were told Late march, this subsiquently changed to Early April, is this still the case or are we now really pushing the limits of "Late Spring" ?
Many Thanks

Technically with ITV allowed to use the new freeview channel space from April 1st, it would be nice if they would be able to use the space for the news channel instead of men & motors, the news channel seemed to be growing well on freeview before it was removed, and they could air it 6am - midnight (after all, not much is live until the morning news). I'm sure I read that they were having problems with the localisation of the channel.
Hopefully if they sort out the regional side of things on all platforms, they will use it. It would be nice to think that the news channel would be increasing local news through the day, even if ITV1 is moving it all to a few three slots.
