Very good special report from Aceh on the Weekend News, but is this not the type of thing that should be on the Evening News or News at 10.30, instead of the Weekend News.

Don't forget that the Sunday early evening bulletin regularly pulls in the best ratings of the week.

So if they're going to spend serious money sending Dan back to Aceh, I guess it makes sense to use his report on that bulletin.


I'd kinda thought that, but I just thought it would have been better on the flagship programme, but I suppose it makes sense, as you say, the Sunday bulletin seems to be the best performer.

I don't know if this is really relevant to this thread, but I will post it here regardless:
When the new ITV daytime schedule starts next month I really personally think that the schedule will be as of follows [but won't be]:
6.00am GMTV
9.25am ITV News Report
9.30am Other programming

Seeing as I know, ITV won't do this.

Swapsy Londoner... Smile I'm quite impressed though, I didn't realise that was the second studio, mind you I was ill then so my brain wasn't at 100%.

The camera shots seems to be better in the 2nd studio, more loosley, much better.
