Now that's what I call Girl Power.
I caught Faye Barker for the first time yesturday and I like her style, she seems more professional than some of the reporter/presenters that they have on the News Channel at the moment.
I do wish that they'd just fix the schedules so that I would know who I am tuning in for. And if they don't do that, how about the newscasters names in the EPG or under the programme information?
I'd say that was there major problem with the channel at the moment.
And then overnights.
As for overnights, I wouldn't have a problem if they recorded an hour and constantly played it or the half hour, I more have a problem as I'd tune in at say this time watch the programme and weather, etc, and then get a different newsreader who's live with the summary. If nothing's changed I don't see the point in them.

Also things were less than smooth at the end of the London headline opt - 'dummy clip a' made another appearance (this happened on the Lunchtime News a while back)

The News Channel is currently DOGless and tickerless.

Were they suitable ones or to make it even worse was it "Live with Mark Austin and Mary Nightingale"?
From memory, it was Alastair Stewart, Andrew & Lucy, Nicholas Owen, Angela Rippon, Steve & Felicity and News at 10.30 with Trevor McDonald.

Don't know about anybody else but have you noticed that Mark Austin is taking more time off than Trevor McDonald. I've noticed Nicholas Owen and Bill Neely are the main 6.30 evening news presenters.
Also, I know this will cause uproar for talking 'nosense' but does Nick colour his hair? It looks like it,
