Last night when they did the opt-out on teh news at 10:30, on the ITV News Channel they went to Scotland Today and Not London Tonight. I know there was the lasndslide in Scotland and they probobley did that to give more infomation but wouldn't it be great if they had a different region each day.
yeah, i tuned in on the off chance that they might consider showing scotland today after linking to the studio earlier in the night. it was good to see it just to see different regional news titles to the usual square box nonsense we have elsewhere !
Im in thE ROI and i cant get any other region apart from UTV (blauh!). I like to look at London Tonight on the ITV NC but having a change was nice aswell. I really hope they decide to alternate regions soon so one day we will have, for example, Wales News then on the next, Anglia News (or something!)
I think this is what the News Channel should be doing on a regular basis - showing the integrated bulletins from the regions with the biggest story of the day.
Did they show Scotland Today at 6pm today as they did with the Glasgow blast?
