Yeah you are right, it looks vile with the blue and yellow, and spoils their graphics. Why red? Why not black, white, blue...

What I was referring to above (but not explaining clearly) was that if you watch the Lunchtime News on the News Channel, the Pulse ticker now appears ABOVE the date and time strap, and looks even more of a mess than it did before when it was only slightly misaligned.

The ITV News Channel ticker looks like something from the previous look ITV News had. As a few other posters have said, they should use the Lunchtime News ticker but align it properly first!

Yes, and the font isnt the font they use, it looks like Franklin Gothic.

Do people never have time off at your work place ? In the event that you don't work, let me enlighten you.

As part of a contract of employment, you are entitled to several weeks paid leave. (this includes newscasters)

It is highly likely that he had accrued some annual leave and chose to take it off. Not that it's any of our business WHERE he's been.

thats why i said i wonder . He could have been on holiday for instance, and this was what i was inquiring to, as he may have spoken somewhere of a break he is taking as obviously he was off on paid leave. Rolling Eyes

I notice there was a promo of what was to come on the Lunchtime News with Nick and Andrea just after the end of This Morning; haven't seen this before - is it the norm?
