The Anglia programme statement mentioned that the weekend regional bulletins were being extended as part of the reshuffle of regional news minutes, but looking at the schedule for the weekend after next nothing seems to have changed.
Are there going to changes to regional news at weekends coming later on, or was the Anglia thing a red herring?
did anyone see nick promoting the new programme today? a caption came up featuring the date of the new look. it had a sort of resemblance to the current look but with more yellow.
I'm not 100% certain about this change - there is a fear is could become more chat and features than actual news.
I also think that with the General Election dominating news in the next month it won't be until Mid-May that we get to see how the programme will be on a regular basis.
As for regional news - with the ads dropped in the 6pm programme last year, do they have a few more (or should that be less) minutes to play with or have they already been used up with shorter bulletins in the 10.30pm programme for example!
I noticed in the tv guide that while the mid afternoon regional bulletin is going the weather forcast appears to be staying just before CITV starts.
Along with the HTV Community thingyo/Crimestoppers?

TVDragon - Hate to be the bearer of bad News but Granada Action was axed sometime ago I'm afraid. And yes we all miss the black cat and the 1995 Granada logo.
