From Media Guardian ITV looks for new Dimbleby.

So who will replace him? For the new style show, there were rumours of a Richard & Judy-style presenting pair of Kate Garraway and Derrek Drapper - or will they try to get Andrew Neil, even though he has just signed to News 24?

Will await with great interest! Let the rumours begin!

I'm sure that ages ago they said somewhere there would be a new program replacing it with Tom Bradby (and maybe Daisy McAndrew).

I reckon Alastair Stewart would be a good choice.

He's proved himself with long(ish)-form political interviews on the News Channel, and can turn his hand to all types of subject.

Really? Would this programme be on a weekend? Tom works long days during the week already, but Tom and Daisy would be good, she's been a guest on Jonathan's show in the past.

Interesting he tips Alastair Stewart too. I hope he gets it.

Sue Lawley - she'll be free on Sundays soon! (OK yes I know Desert Island Discs is recorded.....)

They could always bring Old Trevor McDonald out of retirement because he is such a good presenter IMO - just kidding, I personally find his mono-tone voice and poor delivery a turn off - over rated IMHO

With ITV's continuing decent into fluffy junkland, they'll probably book Ant and Dec.

Whoever gets it, although Alastair would be the best bet, I hope they try and schedule it a bit better. Clashing with either Sunday AM or The Politics Show is a bit of a no no really as is moving all over the schedule.

They should try and give it a fixed 10.25am slot every week except for when the F1 would disrupt it.

Davina's schedule is also loosening up soon. She could maybe do it.

And this may be a bizarre choice for those of you "South" of the border, but speaking of Loose Women, Kaye Adams used to be STV's hard hitting political and current affairs anchor, and she was really good (honestly, hand on heart).

The fact that she now presents fluffy stuff is another matter, but for years, she was the face of STV political / debate output.
