This really should have been a separate programme from the regional news, but given the way ITV is with regards to regional programming, this is actually quite impressive, and the title variation was excellent, the right choice of footage, it looked amazing. Much kudos to ITV for that.

Endcap crediting Border, Calendar and Granada with the hashtag #ONENORTH

The joint programme seems to mirror the campaign last week by local newspapers across the North which united to call for action on Northern Rail services, also using the #OneNorth hashtag.

Granada North West Today
They have a small self contained Northern network in Tyne Tees area which hasn’t been effected, so I’m guessing they got their normal programme.

Of course Transpennine Express has been all over the place over the last few weeks as well, and that could have been a way of including Tyne Tees, but the media haven’t noticed that yet. It took them about a week to notice it wasn’t just Thameslink and Great Northern effected, so maybe they will notice that by next week.

Northern Rail runs services in Tyne Tees patch so quite surprised they aren’t included tbh

Indeed they do but the problems are minimal so it doesn't justify the news agenda for the whole of the programme.

Yes, the reporters that were reporting from the North East last week for the newspapers didn't have much to report compared to those in the NW and Yorkshire.
