No Stewart White on BBC Look East this evening either... do we think this is him now stepping back for 12 weeks?

It is no longer unusual for Stewart or Susie to present alone. Sometimes it will be for a few days.

Stuart has finally appeared. LIVE from home. Not co presenting but as a feature/segment, returning again tomorrow.
My contribution is small but you are welcome.

A weird graphical error at the beginning of tonights bulletin. This isn't the only time this has occured, in the past few weeks it has been on and off.

It looks to me like there is an error as there is no Susie or Stewart! Wink

A weird coincidence that there was a picture glitch just as the presenter was introducing the opening headline on BBC NI's 'Newsline' at 6.30pm. I wonder was some sort of switching taking place.

Well, the days of Natlock are long gone.
Might have been a glitch at the CCM centre, and might have affected other (or all) regions and nations

I don’t think they could both present and have the weather forecast in the studio though they could use CSO instead. I suspect more likely that Stewart being back will help ensure sufficient cover over summer. Susie, Stewart and Amelia may well each be on holiday at points and Leigh Milner has said she is going to be covering more of the lates for a while which Amelia would normally have done.

I don’t know why they insist on only using such a small pool of presenters for the 6.30... Leigh is perfectly capable and should be given a chance! I assume David Whiteley will no longer be used too.

Leigh really is one to watch. Her personality shines through on screen and is ‘in touch’ with the next generation of viewers on social media etc. You just need to look at her twitter to see that! It’s about time the next stars of tomorrow got a chance in the east, we’re stuck in a bit of a time warp at the moment.

If it’s true that only one job is up for grabs to replace double headed they could go for a real shocker and give it to Amelia or someone else full time instead of Stewart or Susie.

When Anglia initially ditched East/West everyone assumed Tim Curtis and Clare Weller would get the jobs... instead we got Jonathan and Becky. Although they’ve lasted over 10 years now!
