Amelia Reynolds was on lunchtime news today even though Stewart & Susie were on at 18:30

Back for late bulletin as well

Amelia often does one day of the week like that.

In the last few weeks if Julie hasn't been on its been down the line to someone in London - Lucy Martin or Sara Thornton. Certainly no sign of the Dolan. I notice she has now set her twitter profile to private.

Bring back Carol Bundock!

Anglia (West) Look East (West sub-opt)
They do use the Weatherquest forecasters still on occasions- Dan Holley and Chris Bell who are both excellent, but I would guess due to budget reasons weather presenters from London are increasingly used when Alex and Julie are off.

Also last weekend Weatherquest Managing Director Jim Bacon retired, he was a BBC national met office forecaster, head of weather at Anglia Television, then after Anglia’s disbanded of the weather department in favour of bought in forecasts and presenters, formed Weatherquest and then forecast on BBC Look East at times.

A very different time, compared to quite a few regional weather presenters who constantly love a selfie....

The ''Summer'' version of the titles aired last night for the main edition with the clocks changing. Although hardly much difference just the daytime version of the end slide of The Forum. No sign of the return of the Southend Pier or Orwell Bridge images in the titles.
