Many thanks for the caps. I appreciate them. Could you also post some throughout the week, of the actual bulletins themselves? I am sure that those of us who don't live in the UK and can't get ITN, would greatly appreciate it!! I would love to see Julia Somerville back presenting the News on tv. She was an excellent newscaster.

Loved it on the Lunchtime news when Julia was asked about the pairing of older men with young attractive women on news bulletins. Unfortunately, Julia didn't mention the fact she was kicked out to make way for Kirsty Young!


Don't think tonight's bulletin will be anything special as most of us still remember Julia, so she'll handle it well.

Just wondering if any of the regions are jumping on the bandwagon and bringing in some of their old presenters?

Doesnt Julia look well!!!! I remember now those bulletins she used to anchor at Ten, with Trevor as co-presenter. They used to alternate it, as neither of them was considered more senior than the other.

The other two main anchors on News at Ten during this period were Alistair Burnet and Alastair Stewart.

Bring back Julia. A sheer excellent news anchor!!
