Any video clips available of Ms Ford's appearance?

I would seem that Anna is just presenting the Evening News and not participating on the 7pm News Channel interviews. Perhaps this was the condition she switch channels for the night.

Unlikely - it be strange for the BBC to let her appear on ITV's most watched bulletin, but not on it's little watched News Channel!

I'm not a big Anna fan, but she was very good on the Evening News tonight and worked well with Mark. I could be wrong, but I think this is the first prime-time bulletin she's presented since she took over the One o'clock News back in the 1999 revamp.

If you exclude bank holidays, christmas etc where she's done later bulletins on the BBC.
People who work during the day probably thought Anna Ford retired years ago!

She played darts with Reginald Bosanquet you know. Wink

I have to agree she was a looker in her day and she still looks 10 years younger than her current age.

I think she works better on a double-headed news bulletin. There's never been an atmosphere when she's on the One.

Wow how impressive was that i wish Anna could return to ITN .She would be great on the evening news .

It would be interesting to find out what she realy thinks of the younger females at ITV news.

It would be brilliant if Selina,Julia and Carol could return to ITN.

This week has been brilliant the highlight for me was Tuesday and Selina Scott .I want to see more of her now .

I have no choice but to agree there....I actually have a signed photo from her during her ITN days in the 80s (I couldn't believe it was 25 years since she left ITN - I'm getting old).

I used to have a real crush on her when I was at school!!! Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

I think her and Mark made an amazing team tonight on the evening news.

Well done ITV for giving us the chance to see that!

I thought it was very odd how she never mentioned ITV - it was always' coming up on the programme' or 'the evening news'. Perhaps she's an ITN stalwart as well!

Have been very impressed over the past week, great to see ITN putting some effort into their birthday celebrations. Gordon Honeycombe was the highlight for me, he was like a combination between Mike Neville and Karen Roberts Laughing His signoff was absolutely classic! I wasn't that excited (for want of a better word) by Selina, although Julia and Martyn were fantastic and should be given jobs at ITV News RIGHT NOW. THIS INSTANT.

Thanks to all of you - and particularly LONDONER - for taking the time and the effort this week to post all the caps on a daily basis. For those of us with fond memories of ITN, but who currently can't get to see it, it was greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot.

Hi,

Good to see the pics of Selina on ITN on Tuesday. I'm kicking myself because I forgot to set the video and was then delayed in coming home! Could anyone send me a copy of Tuesday's ITV News/News Channel interview? Happy to send a blank tape, pay for all costs plus beer money and also include a rare signed photo of Selina from the late 80s/early 90s looking stunning in a blue Armani denim shirt. My home email address is stingingblues@aol.com if anyone wants to contact me directly.

Best wishes,

Steve

Thanks for providing these clips (it's a shame they can't be saved from that site Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes ).

Although I think Anna Ford's appearance was the best, I thought the one with Julia Somerville was very nice, especially when Mark gave her a hug as the credits finished rolling! Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy
