It was definately great to see Julia back presenting, she was excellent. I never really saw Selina when she was on in the eighties, but she seemed rather out of place last night, and not exactly the friendliest of people. However, I may be completely wrong.
Instead of Mark slamming his papers down in time with the signature tune, I thought the peck on the cheek was rather well timed!

Selina is reserved and not as laid back as Julia and their styles are very diffrent .However Selina is still my all time favourite ITN newsreader .I thought when she got going last night and relaxed abit she was fine remember Julia only left ITN four years ago.Selina left news anchoring over a decade ago.She did very well under the circumstances.I must say it was also fantastic to see Julia back .It would be great to see them both on the ITV news channel.
what a fab bulletin. I'm loving this veterans week, it's so fab.
I'm looking forward to Anna Ford most of all. Why can't they have people like this on the BBC anymore instead of Kerplunky and her kind?
Martyn was excellent......and at the end he hinted he would like to get back into it! He was 100% perfect tonight.....a refreshing change from Mark Austin and his "nooose"!!

He said quite the opposite during his chat with Felicity on the News Channel (which went on for the best part of 40 minutes - far longer than Julia and Selina)
