Warren Nettleford presenting the updates tonight, what an atrocious 'newsreader'. No tone in his voice whatsoever.

Truly.

Also rather flat when in student politics at my old uni, IIRC...

Well, 'Matilda' and the stools have made their return to NewsTalk Live/5 News Tonight this evening. Yet again drawing attention to the appauling CSO.

The stools made a return in tonights NewsTalk Live to accommodate a certain guest.

Why was this set ever allowed to happen? Let alone continue.

Everything about it is simply woeful.

Watching bit of the side last week made me think of how suitable their desk area would be as a news set.

The desk could be used for desks, perched on for the majority of the stories, plus the background with the screens could be used on close ups displaying story graphics.

(Apologies about the off the tv snaps.)

It would be a vast improvement on what 5 News have currently.

They could film it in Emma Crosby's dining room and it would be better than their studio.

On the upside, the 9PM hour on BBC News (from studio A) looks good at the side of 5 News's studio
