The previous thread about the future of ITN has been archived, but I thought this was worth mentioning:
From The Business:
ITN, the British news provider that makes bulletins for ITV and Channel 4, has received two approaches – from an American media group and a British suitor.

Chief executive Mark Wood told The Business this weekend: “We have had expressions of interest in possible shareholdings in the past months.”

No doubt all part of the long-term brinkmanship, but interesting nonetheless.
Richard Lindley, who wrote a history of ITN, has a piece in today's Telegraph on why the regulator should step in and save the company.
