There is a statement due at 6pm from the hospital in Jerusalem.

This will cause havoc with the news channels, which do you cover?? Continue with the Kennedy statement, or cut away to the hospital??

I presume they will pre-record one and then play it as soon as the other has finished.
There is also the odd chance that the BBC Six O' Clock News may start about a minute early, play the headlines then at six go to this press conference at the hospital for the main story.
