Jonathan, Five News is run by Sky News, so they have the resources at hand to cover such things live. ITN only have Euronews, and thats crap!

ITN hasn't had anything to do with EuroNews for several years now.

On the whole I thought it was quite a good news special with a successful two way between Jane and Robert Hall in the press conference, which was able to bring some sort of analysis to the story.

Whenever Jane is on-location her hair goes slightly astray, anyone remember when they sent her to NO to cover Katrina?

Don't often praise the BBC I know, but with their arrival yesterday and the news conference today it's good they acknowledged that some events are still worthy of breaking into the BBC1 schedule for.


I'd still prefer these specials to be presented as "BBC News" rather than "BBC News 24" - but after a few years now I've given up on that battle!
