Why is it so hard for them to commit to peace and decomission their weapons?

Lets not get into another debate, lets stick to coverage.

I am suprised no-one has flashed this. It's a major story.

ITV spoke to someone from Queen's University Belfast about the news.

News 24 has an IRA ticker running.

It's not really. Just another move in the very long game of chess that is the peace process.

Basically echoing many sentiments already expressed but this truly is bad news

Perhaps not as big a story as I thought. The TEN have put it second in their running order, a very suprising move.

It's not really that big a deal - there was no movement in that direction anyway, and as both the British and Irish governments believe the IRA was responsible for the Northern Bank robbery, there wasn't going to be any movement for some time to come. It's also not the first time the IRA has broken off talks with General De Chastelain.

Not much to add but Sky flashed it on screen at 9.02 and expanded from the presenters at 9.04.
