I love her emphasis on the name 'Batman' "one of the Fathers 4 Justice campaigners is standing on the balcony at Buckingham Palace dressed as...BATMAN..."

Kirsty Wark's pronounciation throughout Newsnight was the best... batMAN.

Stupid cow! Can't stand her!

Angus Walker on ITV News kept reffering to the police trying to get him down as a game of "bat and mouse".

The split screens on BBC News 24 and ITV News were awful. BBC changes their several times and still didn't get it right (as their aston takes up 1/4 of the screen!), while ITV News began with a small picture on the left and the main news on the right, then switched to two equal sized pictures, which made watching the main news channel events even worse. They could barely see the figures themselves when they read out the FTSE 100. Isn't events like this what they're theatre of news is for - have the picture in the background and carry on with the news.

I know full well what they do - as soon as I saw the banner I knew the score. Potentially these stunts COULD provide terrorists with the ammo they need to launch a deadly attack such as the bombing of a Royal Palace, the Houses of Parliament etc.... these nits are potentially jeopardising the security of Britain's most powerful people and institutions.

Surely by exposing these gaps in security for a harmless stunt, they're actually PREVENTING a similar type of terrorist attack. You can be certain that the chances of chucking something at Tony Blair in the House Of Commons is now nil as a result of the purple flour incident, and security will now be stepped up at Buckingham Palace to prevent further events similar to yesterday's.

If they hadn't carried out these stunts, the gaps in security would still be there for a terrorist to take advantage of. Instead, now they're not, and no-one's got hurt.
