WSVN is really getting battered. YOu can hear the roof of the station being pounded. Sounds like something has been ripped loose. The presenters have to refer to it because its very very loud. IF you dont know WSVN is located on Broadcast Key in North Bay Village. Which is located literally in the centre of Biscayne Bay.

And I thought that KHOU was located in a bad place for such a story!

North Bay Village appears to be largely man-made, except for the area where WSVN is.

Southern CA is now on fire as a huge fire breaks out in the Anaheim Hills. This is fire season in CA. Especially this the season when the Santa Ana winds start. Leading to multiple and frequently large wild fires.

Back in August KHOU - Houston Flooded during Hurricane Harvey coverage. Causing the staff to retreat. Since then the station has been operating at a PBS station. Hoping they can return to their premises.
Well it was finally reported today they will be not be returning. They will remain at their temporary broadcast spot until they can locate a new facility. Good for them.

After being ravaged by a hurricane. KHOU Releases details of their new secondary streetside studio. This is not meant to be their main studio, that is still being decided. They are slowly making progress.
