Indian News channel criticized for their coverage of Mumbai

India has a large number of tv news channels both in English and Hindi. Two of them are available here, NDTV 24x7 and Star News, on Sky Digital, with most of the others having live streams on the internet. I thought they did a pretty good job considering, but they have been criticized by some. Here's some links.

I felt the indian news channels handled it very well. NDTV 24x7 and CNN IBN were my prefered channels during the emergency and although CNN IBN's somewhat more tabloid style kinda jarred with me, both channels did seem to be very much on top of it.

Yes I agree with you on those two channels and their coverage. Did you get a chance to watch NewsX a fairly new Indian English language news channel. They were more sensational in their coverage, accusing Pakistan of involvement from the start.

I didn't actually. I was watching mostly via Sky Digital and Livestation, so was also looking at other channels besides the Indian ones.
