I noticed at 1:30 that ITV News said “The eyes of the world are once again on London”. Well, maybe, but by this stage it was far less prominent. On Al Jazeera, for example it got a brief mention at the end, well behind the Genoa stories and several others.

When the fatal stabbing happened in Paris in May that didn’t get headline news around the world (didn’t make many Sunday front pages) for very long and neither did this. Probably got some more coverage in the USA just because president trump tweeted about it,

How were the Richard Gaisford live pictures from the scene linked back to the GMB gallery? From what I could tell the camera wasn't patched into the black boxes on college green via a cable, nor was there a satellite truck nearby.

Just bumping this.

I understand Gaisford was using a LiveU ....

As far as I'm aware, Sky was the only broadcaster to have an SNG actually in Westminster at the time of the incident. This remained in situ (behind the police cordon) throughout the day while other broadcasters were given permission to park on Lambeth Bridge.

Wonder if Skys SNG is the one in this photo, does seem very close though. *

In the US it was the first story on Today and CBS This Morning for a few minutes. On Nightly News it was fourth in the running order in the A- Block with about a minute long package by Bill Neely (their chief global correspondent). CBS Evening News had it in their B-Block with about a 2 minute package.

Now I’ve seen the aerials of the crash site but to me it looks like there are metal lane dividers around Parliament. Do those lanes lead to anywhere for parliamentary structures such as a garage, entrance or loading docks? All it looked like was a the guy hit a gate on the opposite side of the road near there albeit they had terrorist motives.
