Nicely said Mr Moderator. Please stop going on Winifred, about universities and indeed about Ms Kaplinsky. I like her (to an extent) as well, but would it really do you any harm to accept that other people have perfectly valid opinions about her? And opinions that, frankly, they should be allowed to express without, predictably, provoking you into making yet another post defending Natasha as if you'd received a personal insult.
And a university education makes no difference to a journalist's ability whatsoever. If, as you claim, you are planning a career in journalism you will do yourself no favours by going into it with the attitude that you are somehow better than those without a degree.
To be entirely honest, your posts often make reading any threads about BBC news or news presenters an incredibly tedious experience.
