New news = new thread. Why can't people grasp that?

http://www.bbc.co.uk/mediacentre/latestnews/2014/general-election-2015.html

Essentially next year David Dimbleby will present the overnight coverage, with Huw Edwards taking over around 7am through to 10pm. For subsequent elections Huw Edwards will be the main presenter. Huw has of course hosted the BBC Wales coverage for recent elections and done a superb job.

Huw will also front the Scottish Independence referendum result later this year (presumably not in Scotland!) while Dimbleby gets the European and Local elections in May.

Why can't people grasp the idea of asking mods to split the threads so comment doesn't get lost? They seem to do it quite quickly in my experience.

It's becoming Catch 22 though - and last time they did it Asa made a point once again of asking people to start new threads. This news has nothing at all to do with the election debates.

Bit confused - I did start a new thread on this subject ...

Not sure which one to post in now... !
