BBC used an ABC report before, or an ABC correspondent filing for BBC. Can't remember which. What sort of agreement is there between ABC and BBC? BBC World News show This Week with Christiane Amanpour.

Very good stream there! During the ad breaks you can hear (I gather it's the producer) talking to the presenters running through the line up for the next hour.

Although it seems to keep auto refreshing the page to run adverts.

ABC is the BBC's 'affiliate' (for want of a better word) in the US. The arrangement is mutual - both organisations use each other's news material and facilities. If you see someone being interviewed in the US on the BBC and it's not a BBC studio it'll be an ABC one.

The BBC have similar arrangements (although less extensive) with organisations such as ABC Australia, NHK, TVNZ and of course all the EBU members

It isn't for me. Just a black screen with the talk-back.

I meant during the news itself. I get the audio during the TV commercial breaks but the whole page refreshes occasionally which interrupts the stream and plays an advert. Still, good coverage

Brilliant coverage. I love American news channels!

ABC News 24 were playing a John Simpson report during their morning programming the other day. They show The Hub from BBC World News overnight

It does make me wonder why we don't see any Australian News at all in the UK. BBC News doesn't show the American ABC's World News Tonight anymore.

Back to the Hurricane and there is a little bit of CNNi coverage on now before World Sport.

I think it's a case of not as much happening (or not as much that's important outside of Australia) and when it does it's overnight. Also getting a feed back from Oz has been tradiationally a lot more difficult than one across the Atlantic.

I think Up All Night on 5 Live has some Australian content, including their science phone in hour which is partially from an ABC studio

WTVD (ABC)'s Caitlin Coyner reporting for the BBC News channel (recorded) in the 6pm hour (so possibly a live from earlier and possibly also on World - this may be what "aconnell" referred to earlier).

I'm impressed by the amount of footage Fox are taking from twisterchasers.com today.
