I don't think they have the facility to edit the English regions EPG data seperately, or so someone said somewhere

Don't think the North West are doing one. Also does anyone know about Spotlight down in the SW? Whose presenting it?
its me posted:
Are BBC North West putting out a special, there's been no mention of one on either Friday's NWT or today's bulletin???
Also the BBC1 schedule hasnt been updated on Sky.

Hmm the Radio Times website lists it as a "BBC News Special", so maybe it's going to be Politics Show style, national programme with local opts?
Interesting that BBC One NI is repeating the Politics show from lunchtime in this slot.

That's right - the opt out programme billings are created automatically by default in the standard opt out pattern. If there's a regional special, currently the billing for the networked programme still apears on the DSAT EPG. I was told back in March that "new software" would be available soon - but clearly this still isn't the case!

it seems every english region apart from london is showing "hunting" - although bbc midlands are calling it something else, and i know bbc north have a different title for theirs. it seems london, scotland and wales are still showing billy connolly.
would it not make sense for london to take the south east's programme, or fill the time with a homeground repeat, so that the network can pick up where they left off with billy connolly next week

I would have EXPECTED Wales to have a hunting programme too, as they're also affected by the issue.
I think confusion still abounds. I suppose I'll just have to <expletive deleted> well stay sober enough to work a remote control.
Don't be surprised if I end up on here later on and in a tetchy mood, not that that's EVER been known late on a Sunday before.

looks like a bbc english regions idea - especially with this "<regional news programme name> special" title appearing in every region.
the fact they are being shown accross almost all of england, you would have thought they'd find a slightly earlier timeslot for it.
