These are High Schools?! Where on earth do they get the money for setups like this? Some ITV and BBC stations would kill for sets and space as good as these.

Well they wouldn't for these sets but local TV would.

I know when it was removed parts of it were donated, wonder if this is where to!

I think high school newscasts are really, really pointless. My high school did away with ours when some kid played out a hardcore porn tape on April Fool's.

This is absolutely bonkers. How big are these schools? Are they doing it as part of a particular course like you'd find in a college or university?

I'm just astonished. Those are some really nice sets. And some CSO ones too.

I seem to recall that high schools in the US are usually from 14 to 18, so it does include students preparing for university.

I wonder how many of these are old broadcast sets that have been donated?

I know Bradford uni has the old light box set from Look North and Huddersfield had Calendar's old desk.

I used to work at UCLan and we had the old NWT set with the neon letters.

But these are unis we're talking about. Not high schools.
