Hi all, i know this seems a really stupid question, and i'm sorry Asa for putting it in here, was'nt sure where to put it.

I'm a journalism student investigating a high profile media persona, that person has won awards in the past including an RTS award, but was prior to 1998.

Does anyone know of any books which would feature this information, i need concrete info?

I'm sorry i'm not able to 'name' the person, but this is because if the person found out, he might not like it.

Thanks if you can help, just names of some books or something... what you know, that way I can look in library.

Thanks.

If you told us the name of a high profile, award-winning media personality, to do some research on him for university, he might not like it? Have I missed something here...like logic?

It's not exactly libellous to ask "does anyone know where I can find information on John Stapleton?" or "can anyone tell me where to find reliable source on Sir Trevor McDonald?" What exactly is there not to like about one's name being used in public when one is already a recognised public figure? And how do you expect us to help you when you haven't told us the name of the person, or the type of information that you're after?

Sounds like a Lincoln Uni student to me. On their Journalism course they do an assignment which involves searching for as much information about a famous or well-known person as possible including their home address, phone numbers, names of their family, without them finding out (if they do they lose marks).

Yes ...

I like to be.

So, how do you know the course... who are you, I take it your a journalism student or a graduate of said course.

Sorry, I still cannot reveal the identitiy. I can tell you I obtained the following, Home Address, Work address (not hard), where subject was born, where subject lived when subject was born, which hospital subject was born in, where subject went to school and other education, any business interests, subjects ofspring and other family. Financial interst.

Can't remember what else now, though I did'nt get subjects work telephone number which i'm disapointed about.
