Given the number of other BBC regional news presenters announcing their departure this week, it’s hard not to assume that Harry might be about to say goodbye.

Another sad day for regional television as yet another veteran leaves. Whoever gets the gig out of Amy Garcia and Keeley Donovan will have huge shoes to fill.

My assumption was that as Amy was joint main presenter alongside Harry, that she’d become the new main host.

In normal times Amy and Keeley job share anyway
How far the programme has fallen, go back a decade it was the unbeatable line up of Harry Gration and Christa Ackroyd, nobody could come close. Now it’s going to be Amy Garcia sat on her own
So that's two women replacing veteran male presenters at Spotlight and now Look North. Now while I'm all for positive discrimination, neither of them are on a par with Justin or Harry.
I just hope the BBC in the South don't get any ideas about getting Sally Taylor to "retire"

Hopefully Sally and Fred are an immovable southern duopoly !
As soon as I read the thread on Justin Leigh last night I started getting worried about Harry!
My claim to fame is I met him in a BBC caravan once that was parked up on a hill in York (or something like that anyway, I was rather young at the time so don't have a vivid memory of it sadly!)
