You can tell the UK media has just been bursting to release this information. Fair play to them and some of the foreign media (Fox News as broadcasting to the UK being one?) for playing ball for so long.

It was never going to last and clearly ITV News have been well aware of that, ready to have Mark live on location the day someone broke the embargo.

I didn't see the Six or Evening News tonight, as I was working late (my first news update was the 8pm summary Laughing ) but I don't agree with the entire programme being dedicated to this one story. At least with an hour long Ten/NAT we'll get some more "other news".

Biggest story for both programmes so far? Let battle commence...

Never mind sodin' 'arry.

Has anybody any clue what time the next programme, after News at Ten and the Wales News, on ITV Wales is starting, as I want to record it?

Can't even get a sensible reply from the ex-directory line on the South Bank, as they still don't seem to have been told for certain.

Has anyone in the ITV nations and regions yet been given a reliable out time for the local news?

Sky EGP say News at Ten is for 70 mins.

Looks funny seeing News at Ten on CNN Int. They have a strap up saying "You are watching ITV special coverage" I wonder if they cut away from the coverage once they move to other news of the day with Julie and Sir Trev?

Extended 10 o'clock News according to Ellie in the 8pm update.
I suppose it will come from the News 24 studio again as Newsnight will need the studio just before 10:30.

Grrr, well that's bad news considering the mess they made of it yesterday. Had this been a proper news story then I'm sure people could put up with the less then professional results - unfortunately it's not, so why highlight their shortcomings during this temporary period of studio "musical chairs".

10 o'clock News coming from TC7.....can't be extended therefore I suppose? Confused .... Newsnight moves in at 10:30

No headlines or titles at the start of the Evening News. Straight to Mark on location, followed by a report.

I'm assuming this was because CNN International were also re-broadcasting the programme live.

Perhaps the Ten O'Clock News will switch to N8 at 2230 for the rest of the programme?

I'd be surprised if they did that for anyone other than News 24 as normal. They have had enough time to move Newsnight for today if the Ten is definately extended. I would think all broadcasters have been very well prepared for today's announcement.

Well the Sky EPG still says the Ten will finish at its normal time.

I'm right in saying Question Time was recorded earlier this evening?

News at Ten just went back to the studio for 'Coming up' followed by the ads. CNN cut away as soon as the Harry stuff had finished. ITV also broadcast a cue dot before the break, is that normal for the NAT?
