According to the trailer tonight's Newswatch is dealing with issues relating to the BBC Coverage.

By dealing with I assume they mean getting a BBC exec in to tell the viewers they're wrong and then brushing the issue under the carpet.

Has the BBC not sent a ridiculous amount of reporters to the scene? Is there such a need for so many reporters there. ITV are doing a great job with 4 people there.

Hardly a valid comparison, a parochial UK broadcaster with just over an hour's peak news a day on one TV channel compared to a global news operation with 2 twenty four hour channels, domestic bulletins, radio and online services.

It has just been said on Newswatch that the BBC have 20 staff there for all their coverage whereas ITV have 22. Since BBC have got much more coverage to put out this seems quite reasonable to be fair.

Raymond Snoddy didn't ask the killer question, why are the Beeb staying in a hotel ? That's 20 beds being occupied, while there are thousands of injured people sleeping in the streets.

Did you honestly expect him to ask? He got his dig in at ITV which he was probably told to do by bosses
